When January 2020 started, many of us had different plans for ourselves but, as the year unfolded, it was about surviving. Not knowing whether we’ll see each other again, or walking in a crowd without fear of getting infected with the Coronavirus.
Now we’re about to say goodbye to September 2020 and if you’re reading this, congratulate yourself for surviving amidst a pandemic, financial crisis and going through a roller coaster of emotions.
This year is going to be remembered by all of us for a lot of reasons. The best part of it is that we all had similar hardships. It didn’t matter whether you were rich or poor, or hailed from different countries because, at this point, global recession and a weak economy are affecting us directly or indirectly.
A year like no other is what I can say for 2020. Maybe because the teenage years were left behind and the period of acting like an adult started for it. And adulting, is not easy, that would explain the rough patch, right?
